8/9/12 40twenty's debut album off to the printers next week! Hooray! Watch for a late 2012 release.....

6/14/12: This will be my new paragraph describing the Summa Heretica band, that I will use for all promo, everything, all the time:

An idiosyncratic blend of structure and freedom, swing and abstraction, willful obscurity SPQR , humor, and gut-punch feel (as people other than Vinnie have described it), the Vinnie Sperrazza Band creates an engaging instrumental jazz sound that is distinct, personal, and welcoming. Good for listening while thinking and daydreaming, with myriad influences, and tight endings to the songs. Featuring Loren Stillman on alto sax, Brandon Seabrook on guitar, and Eivind Opsvik on bass.

6/13/12 Jacob Sacks, Masa Kamaguchi, and I will be recording a new album for Fresh Sound Records in New York in late summer or early fall! More more casual standard mayhem and fun. Maybe even a theme! I'm thinking 50's trumpet players......
