Matt / Vinnie

The Matt Blostein/Vinnie Sperrazza Band is a project I've been working on, in various incarnations, since 2003. Our current line-up includes my longtime associate and comrade Geoff Kraly on electric bass, Jacob Garchik on trombone, and, of course, Matt Blostein on alto sax.

Matt and I both write for the group, and it's my main outlet as a composer. Our new record, "Paraphrase", out in February 2011, features four of my own tunes. I'm very enthusiastic about the group and the record. Our story is told on our own website here:
